It really bugs me when people say that Valentine’s Day is ridiculous because you should love your significant other every day and do little things without the obligation to. Well, I quite honestly love the excuse to shower people with love. I do do that every day of my life, but that doesn’t make me enjoy Valentine’s Day less. It’s just a little different. It forces me to get creative and it reminds me how much I love people, especially this year when I am stressed to the max and love the fact that I can forget about it for a moment and just love.

And, to make it even better, it reminds me of TWLOHA because the original date was either the day before or day after Valentine’s day.

Yes, I recognize there are some negatives, like the fact that it puts a spotlight on couples and puts pressure on their relationship. However, you could argue that there are negatives to every holiday.

Just… Go pick on a different day because I’m sick and tired of hearing how “awful” this one is.
